Cookie Policy
Effective October 1, 2026 · Last updated October 1, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Arbor Culture JH Services LLC ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies in connection with Gem of Luck, the gemofluck.com website, and any related websites, applications, features, content, or services that link to this Cookie Policy (collectively, the "Service").
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites may place on your browser or device when you visit a website. Cookies allow websites to recognize a browser or device and may be used for purposes such as operating website functionality, remembering preferences, maintaining security, measuring website performance, identifying technical problems, and improving the user experience.
2. What Are Similar Technologies?
In addition to traditional browser cookies, the Service may use similar technologies, including local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, scripts, device identifiers, cached data, and embedded content technologies. Throughout this Cookie Policy, references to "cookies" or "similar technologies" may collectively refer to these technologies where appropriate.
3. Cookies on the Website and Technologies in the App
Traditional browser cookies generally apply to websites rather than native mobile applications. Accordingly:
- gemofluck.com may use browser cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, scripts, and similar browser technologies; and
- Gem of Luck stores its game save and preferences in local application storage on your device (local databases and preference storage). It does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs.
The technologies actually used depend on the current implementation of the Service.
4. Why We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies
4.1 Operating the Service
Certain technologies may be necessary to load pages, display content, provide basic functionality, remember technical settings, prevent errors, and maintain security.
4.2 Remembering Preferences
Local storage may be used to remember choices such as display settings or other optional settings you have made on the website.
4.3 Security
Technologies may be used to detect suspicious activity, prevent abuse, protect infrastructure, and investigate technical or security incidents.
5. Categories of Technologies We Use
gemofluck.com is a small static website. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, attribution, or consent-management technologies, and we do not set optional advertising cookies.
The website currently uses only technologies necessary to operate and secure the website. We do not currently use optional advertising cookies or personalized advertising technologies.
The technologies involved in delivering the website include:
- Hosting and content delivery — the website is served through a hosting provider that may process standard technical request data (such as your IP address and browser information) in security logs necessary to deliver the site.
- Fonts and icons — the website loads typefaces (Baloo 2 and Nunito) and an icon font from third-party content-delivery networks. These providers may process technical request information necessary to deliver the assets.
6. First-Party and Third-Party Technologies
First-party technologies are set directly by gemofluck.com or Arbor Culture JH Services LLC, for essential functionality, preferences, or security. Any third-party technologies are placed or controlled by independent service providers — for example, the content-delivery networks that serve fonts and icon assets — and are subject to the privacy policies of the relevant provider.
7. Session and Persistent Technologies
Technologies may be session-based (generally expiring when you close your browser) or persistent (remaining on your device for a specified period or until you delete them). We seek to avoid retaining identifiers longer than reasonably necessary for their intended purpose.
8. Consent
Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before placing or accessing non-essential cookies or similar technologies. Because the website currently uses only technologies necessary to operate and secure it, no consent banner is displayed. If we ever introduce optional technologies, we will request consent where required and provide a preference interface.
9. Withdrawing or Changing Consent
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw or change your consent at any time through the preference interface we provide, your browser settings, or your device settings. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before the consent was withdrawn.
10. Browser and Device Controls
Most web browsers allow users to view stored cookies, delete individual cookies, delete all cookies, block cookies, block third-party cookies, or receive notifications before cookies are stored. Browser controls vary between browsers and versions — please consult your browser's settings or help documentation for instructions. Blocking all cookies may cause parts of the Service to function incorrectly.
Mobile operating systems may provide privacy controls for identifiers, tracking, advertising, and application permissions. Depending on your device, you may be able to limit advertising tracking, reset advertising identifiers, revoke permissions, clear application data, uninstall the application, or change privacy settings on your device.
11. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Some browsers support privacy preference signals such as Global Privacy Control ("GPC"). Where applicable law requires us to recognize a valid GPC signal, we will process that signal as required by law. Some browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" preference; because there is no universally accepted technical or legal standard governing how websites must respond to all such signals, the Service may not respond to all of them unless required by applicable law.
12. Analytics and Advertising
We do not currently use third-party analytics cookies or analytics technologies on the website, and we do not currently use cookies or technologies for personalized advertising.
13. Children
The Service is a general-audience game and website and is not directed to children. We do not intentionally use advertising or tracking technologies to create advertising profiles of children in violation of applicable law. If you believe information relating to a child has been processed contrary to applicable law, contact rosawilliams199165@gmail.com.
14. Data Retention
Information collected through cookies or similar technologies is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for its intended purpose, subject to applicable legal requirements. Where possible, information may be aggregated, anonymized, or deleted when it is no longer necessary.
15. Deleting Cookie Data
You may generally delete cookies through your browser settings. You may also be able to clear website data, clear browser storage, delete application data, reset application permissions, reset advertising identifiers, uninstall the application, or change privacy settings on your device. Deleting cookies may also remove saved preferences — for example, if you delete a cookie used to remember a consent choice, we may need to request your preference again during a future visit.
16. International Data Transfers
Some hosting or content-delivery providers may process information outside your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards may be used for international transfers, including adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, contractual protections, or other legally recognized mechanisms. Further information is available in our Privacy Policy.
17. Changes to Third-Party Technologies and to This Policy
The third-party services used by the Service may change over time. We may add, replace, or discontinue a provider, or change hosting, security, or delivery technology. When these changes materially affect this Cookie Policy, we may update it accordingly. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy indicates when it was most recently revised. Where required by applicable law, we may provide additional notice or request renewed consent for material changes.
18. Relationship With the Privacy Policy
This Cookie Policy provides specific information about cookies and related technologies. Our broader handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. If this Cookie Policy does not address a particular data-processing issue, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
